9 - Classmate Blog Critique

Hannah's blog is one of my absolute favorites to read and explore, especially when I'm looking for inspiration for my own blogs in this class. Her writing style is engaging, her visuals are always thoughtfully curated, and she has a way of capturing her thoughts in a way that feels both personal and insightful. One article that really stood out to me was her review of the XO, Kitty TV series. Not only did she provide a thorough and balanced critique, but she also tied in her own perspective in a way that made the review feel authentic and relatable. Her breakdown of the characters, themes, and overall vibe of the show gave me a deeper appreciation for it—and even made me want to rewatch it with fresh eyes. It's that kind of thoughtful content that keeps me coming back to her blog time and time again.

Another article that really caught my attention was her analysis of Leonie Christel. I appreciated the depth and clarity with which she explored the subject, offering thoughtful commentary and drawing connections that I hadn’t considered before. Hannah has a real talent for taking niche topics and making them feel accessible and engaging. I also really admire the way she’s designed her blog overall—it’s not only aesthetically pleasing but also incredibly user-friendly. She incorporates a variety of editing styles that keep each post visually interesting and easy to navigate. From standout quotes that immediately draw you in, to well-organized character lists and insightful breakdowns, every element of her blog feels intentional and polished. Her attention to detail and creative presentation make reading her content feel like an experience rather than just another scroll.

Another blog I really enjoy following is Tiffany’s. The aesthetics and overall organization of her articles are quite different from the approach I usually take with my own blog, but that’s part of what makes it so refreshing and inspiring to read. She has a unique visual style that complements her content beautifully, creating a distinct atmosphere that draws readers in from the very beginning. One of the things I admire most about her work is how clearly her voice comes through in both her research and her critiques—whether she’s analyzing a film, a piece of literature, or diving into a cultural topic, there's always a strong sense of personal insight and confidence in her writing.

What’s even more impressive is the growth I’ve seen in her writing over the course of this class. Each new post feels more refined, more focused, and more impactful than the last. It’s been really inspiring to witness that development firsthand. Tiffany’s blog not only stands out because of its content and presentation, but also because of the dedication and passion that clearly go into every entry. A favorite article of mine that she has done is the one covering Simon Cowell. I like the visual styling of the article along with her thoughts over him.

In all, I have enjoyed everyone's blog in this semester's class and have gotten inspiration from everyone. I frequently look at other's blogs and research examples to get inspiration for my own articles. I have seen different takes on blogs than what I would have done, and that is perfect to keep in mind if I want to do something different.
